"These three pieces centre around versions of romantic love that are not quite right. In ‘Love’s Labour’s Lost,’ the men are infatuated and are ultimately rejected; in ‘Merry Wives,’ Falstaff’s pretend-love is answered by Mistresses Ford and Page in kind; and in ‘Bottome,’ Titania is bewitched into loving the donkey-headed actor. The core of each of these plays is not love, but fun, and that is the experience we aim to bring to our volunteers and audiences in 2025."
