In cases of emergency, company-wide messages may come from any member of your Show and/or Leadership Teams, by any and all communication methods
Communicating with your Stage Manager
During production, your primary point of contact will be your Stage Manager. Your Stage Manager will be responsible for communicating production schedules and any relevant changes, including weather calls.
Changes to rehearsals or performances will be communicated via email in a timely manner whenever possible.
Please be sure to check your email regularly for updates.
Please only contact your Stage Manager by email unless your message is urgent (ie., less than 2 hours for turnaround).
You may text your Stage Manager at the number they provide you for urgent business only; this policy is to allow our staff to maintain appropriate and necessary boundaries around their hours of work.
Your Stage Manager may choose to text or create group chat to relay information to the company at large, but it is not a requirement.
For example:
if you are not able to attend a scheduled rehearsal because of a pre-existing conflict, please email your stage manager as soon as you notice the conflict;
urgent updates, such as if you missed the bus and will be 20 minutes late for rehearsal, please text.
Communication with the Leadership Team
Aside from your stage manager, other company-related questions, comments, or concerns, you may connect with the SBTS leadership team the following perferred order:
Festival Manager: Maggie Coady - [email protected]and 709-749-7287 - this is the company phone, so you may text this number as well. Maggie does not work 24/7 but she will get back to you in a timely fashion.
