May 4 – August 21 (16 weeks) One (1) position available - wages and hours offered to the successful candidate are dependent on the student's status, as stipulated by the funder: Graduate students will qualify for: 24 hours/week at $24.32/hour
Undergraduate students will qualify for: 19 hours/week at $18.65/hour

The Shakespeare by the Sea Festival is looking for a student to join their team part-time this spring/summer semester as an Impact Storytelling & Communications Coordinator.
The coordinator will work with staff and the volunteer executive team to gather a focused set of alumni testimonials and prepare sample content for use in grant applications and social media.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
Support alumni storytelling and testimonial collection:
Work with staff to clarify the goals and scope of alumni storytelling, identifying a focused and realistic group of alumni from whom to gather testimonials.
Organize alumni outreach and testimonials:
Assist in reviewing existing alumni lists and recent season programs to develop a working contact list to support testimonial outreach.
Support outreach to alumni through existing channels (e.g., mailing lists or social media groups) to invite participation and explain how testimonials will be used.
Collect a limited number of alumni testimonials, either through written submissions or by recording short conversations where feasible.
Highlight success stories for public use:
Review collected testimonials to identify key quotes and success stories suitable for grant applications, reports, or publicfacing communications.
Support social media storytelling:
Assist in developing sample social media content or a draft content plan featuring alumni testimonials
Lay groundwork for future impact tracking:
Create an outline or template for gathering feedback from future participants (e.g., the 2026 summer company), intended as a starting point for future seasons
Other related tasks may be required.
Eligibility requirements:
Be duly recognized as a student of Memorial University during the time of the placement
Be in good academic standing
Respectfully uphold your commitments towards the community partner as prescribed by the work placement
Complete a post-placement reflection exercise/debrief
Experience with G-Suite would be considered an asset
