LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST by William Shakespeare Directed by Lynn Panting Saturdays & Sundays at 6:00pm July 12th - August 3rd Toulinguet Close, MUNL Campus In partnership with the Department of English, Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador.
“Let us once lose our oaths to find ourselves.” King Ferdinand and Team Navarre vow to forsake women, food, and sleep, isolating themselves for three years in pursuit of scholarly greatness. But their plans are quickly upended by the arrival of the Princess of France and the rest of Team Aquitaine. As affections grow and disguises multiply, wit and will are put to the test. Love’s Labour’s Lost asks what happens when we surrender expectation to feeling, connection, and change.
Performed in the round in Toulinguet Close, St. John's MUN Campus - located between the Arts & Administration, Science, and Henrietta Harvey buildings.
