Respectful Workspace Policy

Based on the Respectful Workspace Policy as developed by the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association (2017)
Adopted by the Shakespeare by the Sea Festival Inc. Board of Directors - May 2026

In order to ensure a safe and smooth-running Festival season, all Festival Company members - volunteers, contractors and staff - are required to review and be familiar with the contents of this section. 

Additionally, all staff are required to participate in Respectful Workspaces in the Arts training, offered in-person, annually.
