Sandra Mills is an actor/singer/theatre maker living in St. John’s. Since becoming affiliated with Shakespeare by the Sea in 2013, she has served as an actor, director, board member, and HR administrator for the festival. She became the company’s first General Manager in 2018, and is responsible for the day to day operations, though still manages to find time to perform in the festival, notably in 2023’s “Much Ado About nothing”, in which she played Beatrice. Other affiliated companies include St.  John’s Players, the Newfoundland and Labrador Drama Society, St. John’s International Circus Festival, Best Kind Productions, and Elevator Pitch. In her spare time, Sandra works at Memorial University (and occasionally in retail), sings at funerals, and sporadically talks about television on CBC Radio and TikTok.
